The inaugural Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant was held on June 20th, 2024, in the heart of downtown Savannah, GA, marking a historic celebration of freedom and cultural heritage.

Chosen For the Arts, producers of the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship pageant, is thrilled to announce the winner of the first-ever Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant, Miss Kennedy Hunter!
Kennedy, the daughter of Stacie Coppock and Darion Hunter, is a 2024 graduate of Savannah Arts Academy. She will be attending Georgia Southern University in the fall, where she plans to major in Nursing.
Kennedy is not only a star on the Varsity Volleyball Team but also a dedicated community servant. Her involvement includes the Savannah Youth Council, Savannah Youth Ambassadors, FBLA, Black Student Union Club, Delta Academy, and Delta Gems.
Kennedy is not only the winner of this crown but also the recipient of a $5000 college scholarship! This incredible opportunity allows her to focus more on her education and dedicate additional time to building and supporting her community.
As Miss Savannah Juneteenth, Kennedy aims to empower and educate the community, fostering togetherness and cultural pride. She wowed the judges and the crowd alike, proving herself truly deserving of this crown.

We are thrilled to announce the runner-up of The Miss Savannah Juneteenth Pageant, Ms. Kyra Elizabeth Bradshaw!
Kyra is the proud daughter of Tonja Bradshaw and a 2024 graduate of Woodville Tompkins High School. This fall, she will be embarking on an exciting new journey at Georgia Southern University, where she plans to major in Nursing.
Kyra's academic achievements are truly commendable. She is a distinguished member of the National Beta Club, the National Honor Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars. Beyond her scholastic excellence, Kyra is deeply involved in her community. She actively participates in the Savannah Youth Ambassadors and shares her musical talents as a member of the AYB Youth and Young Adult Choir.
Kyra is committed to honoring the significance of Juneteenth, a pivotal day in American history that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. She aims to enhance the celebration of this important event and serve as a positive ambassador for the city she loves and calls home. We are confident that Kyra's dedication, spirit, and leadership will leave a lasting impact on our community.

We are delighted to introduce the first-ever Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant winner, the exceptional Miss Saiiya King.
Saiiya, the daughter of Rashida King and Charles Reid, is a dedicated student at Sol C. Johnson High School. She excels academically as a participant in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program and is an active member of FCCLA, FBLA, 21st Century, and the dance team.
Saiiya’s commitment to her community is evident through her roles as a Youth Ambassador and her involvement with GCAPP (Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential). As Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth, she views this honor as a stepping stone towards college scholarships and an invaluable experience for her future endeavors.
This pioneering event, celebrating the spirit and history of Juneteenth, marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Saiiya embodies the grace, intelligence, and resilience that this historic occasion represents. We look forward to her inspiring leadership and contributions as she proudly represents our community in this prestigious role.
