On Saturday, June 17th, 2023, CFTA hosted a vibrant celebration of Black culture! In our inaugural year, we welcomed more than 1800 attendees throughout the day, formed valuable partnerships with community organizations, and provided a platform for over 20 vendors. Our event was a joyful commemoration of Juneteenth, uniting people of all races through the power of music, delectable cuisine, and a sense of togetherness.
The festival's offerings were diverse, featuring a touching tribute to our ancestors, an uplifting drumming ceremony, an inspiring gospel concert, captivating storytelling sessions, a dedicated kids' play area, a variety of vendors, mouthwatering food trucks, and numerous community organizations contributing their unique perspectives.
The Savannah Juneteenth Festival was open to all, with free admission. Families seized the opportunity to revel in the day with complimentary music, engaging children's activities, and delightful moments under the sun.
