As part of the 2026 Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, our Lunch & Learn Series continues as a meaningful space for education, reflection, and community connection. Rooted in the spirit of Juneteenth, these midday gatherings honor the journey from freedom to forward movement—centering conversations on legacy, empowerment, and building pathways for future generations within the African American community.
The 2026 Lunch & Learn Series is proudly sponsored and hosted by Margaret Williams, festival committee member and owner of Forward Shift Consulting, whose continued commitment to leadership development and community progress helps bring these important conversations to life.
Sessions are free and open to the public, lunch will be provided, with limited seating available, register below.

Understanding heirs property, family land ownership, wills, probate, protecting inherited homes/land, and preserving Black family legacy after emancipation and through generations.

An engaging conversation centered on voting, advocacy, policy, youth leadership, community organizing, and the continued work of freedom movements within Black communities. This Lunch & Learn will explore how past struggles for justice continue to shape modern leadership, civic engagement, and community impact today.
