2026 DREAMS FULFILLED SCHOLARSHIP GALA

Saturday, May 30th | 7PM | Hyatt Regency Savannah, Grand Ballroom

The 3rd Annual Dreams Fulfilled Scholarship Gala welcomes guests to the grand ballroom at Hyatt Regency Savannah for an elegant Black Tie evening rooted in history, purpose, and celebration.

The night begins with red carpet arrivals, followed by an exclusive VIP hour, a curated seated dinner, live music, and a signature auction—all supporting the next generation of young women through the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant.

The evening also honors community leaders whose service, vision, and quiet impact continue to uplift Savannah in the true spirit of Juneteenth.

Gala Theme: The Crown Was Never Removed — Legacy Worn Loud

This year’s guiding concept, The Crown Was Never Removed, Legacy Worn Loud, is rooted in the history of the 1786 Tignon Law, which attempted to control and diminish Black women by mandating they cover their hair. What was meant to silence instead became a declaration—Black women transformed restriction into elegance, reclaiming visibility, dignity, and power. The crown was never taken; it endured, passed down through generations, worn with intention and pride.

Dress Code: Black Tie Elegance Encouraged

At the Gala, this theme will be fully realized in both meaning and style.

Guests are invited to elevate classic black-tie attire with intentional head adornment or statement elegance. Women may incorporate headwraps, sculptural headpieces, jeweled pins, crowns, or bold hair statements, while men are encouraged to add cultural or symbolic accents such as brooches, lapel pins, textured fabrics, or heritage details. The emphasis throughout the room: regal, intentional, unapologetic.

VIP Tickets for this event are now SOLD OUT!
