Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival: A Celebration of Juneteenth History, Arts and Culture

 The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival is a cultural movement rooted in freedom, education, and preserving the meaning of Juneteenth within our community. In under five years, it has grown into one of Savannah’s impactful seasonal celebrations—expanding into a multi-event experience that has awarded scholarships, elevated youth leadership, supported artists, and created spaces for cultural reflection and community engagement. 

Each year, the festival continues to build through signature events that blend heritage, education, and celebration while creating opportunities for future generations to understand Juneteenth and carry its legacy forward.  

The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival envisions a vibrant and inclusive celebration that honors the rich history of Juneteenth, empowers our community, and promotes unity through the arts. We strive to create an annual event that not only commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people but also serves as a platform for artistic expression, cultural appreciation, and social progress.
