Who Is Chosen For The Arts?
CFTA, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded with the mission of empowering individuals through the transformative power of Fine Arts. Dedicated to making arts and culture accessible to all, CFTA tirelessly works towards the goal of evolving into an educational institution. The aim is to enhance the community's exposure, understanding, and active participation in the arts. Under the banner of "Chosen For the Arts" 501(c)(3), the organization initiated the annual Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival as a fundraising endeavor, intending to reinvest in the community. The primary objective is to offer support to underprivileged youth, businesses, and community partners.
Each event within the 2027 festival will serve as a means to give back to local 501(c)(3) organizations throughout our community.

The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival is a multi-day celebration of Black culture, resilience, and creativity. Hosted by Chosen For The Arts, the festival includes a diverse range of events centered on fine arts, education, health, and community engagement. With a focus on equity, empowerment, and legacy, the festival serves as a platform to support local talent, provide scholarships, and uplift underrepresented voices through meaningful programming and community partnerships.
2026 Community Impact
The 2026 Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival experienced significant growth, serving more than 4,000 attendees across multiple events and generating an estimated 35% increase in overall participation from previous years. Through the support of sponsors and community partners, the festival awarded more than $8,000 in scholarships, invested in youth leadership development, and provided free educational, cultural, and family-focused programming to the public.
The festival's signature events attracted diverse audiences from throughout the Coastal Empire and beyond, with approximately 2,000 attendees at the Jubilee Sky Fireworks Show and more than 1,500 attendees participating in Grand Day festivities. More than 50 local businesses, vendors, artists, and community organizations benefited from direct engagement opportunities, while hundreds of students and families participated in scholarship, educational, and leadership initiatives. Through these efforts, the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival continued to strengthen cultural awareness, economic opportunity, and community connection while preserving and celebrating the legacy of Juneteenth.

Lunch & Learn Series | June (reocurring)
As part of the 2027 Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, this educational series creates space for meaningful conversations focused on leadership, legacy, economic empowerment, and community progress. Sponsored and hosted by Margaret Williams of Forward Shift Consulting, these free sessions are open to the public and include lunch. Seating is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.
Jubilee Home of Legacy | Spring of 2027
Legacy Home Initiative – As part of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, a sponsoring partner will join us in creating a lasting community impact by helping furnish a newly constructed or renovated home for a deserving family, veteran, or single parent. This highly visible initiative extends the festival’s mission beyond celebration and into direct community investment, providing meaningful recognition for the sponsor while helping strengthen generational wealth and opportunity in our region.
Dreams Fulfilled Scholarship Gala | May 22nd/June 5th
The signature fundraising event of the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Program and the official kickoff to the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival. This elegant evening honors community leaders, awards scholarships to deserving youth, and features dining, live entertainment, cultural presentations, and community recognition while celebrating excellence, education, and opportunity.
Jubilee Pour of Liberation | June 12th
is a signature experience of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, bringing together food, wine, spirits, culture, and live entertainment in an elevated outdoor setting. Designed for guests ages 25+, this curated event features chef experiences, tastings, live music, specialty vendors, and opportunities to connect and celebrate in a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. As the festival’s premier culinary event, Jubilee Pour honors the legacy of freedom while celebrating Black excellence, culture, and community. Attendance is intentionally limited to preserve the guest experience.
Jubilee Sky of Freedom (Fireworks Show) | June 19th
is a signature event of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, bringing families, friends, and visitors together for an evening of celebration and community. This free, family-friendly experience features live entertainment, food trucks, local vendors, community activities, and a dedicated children's area. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display honoring the legacy of freedom, resilience, and progress, creating a memorable Juneteenth experience for attendees of all ages.
Jubilee Voices of Freedom (Gospel Concert) | June 20th
An uplifting evening of gospel music, praise, and community fellowship celebrating the faith, resilience, and spiritual strength that sustained generations on the journey to freedom. Featuring local and regional gospel artists, this inspiring concert serves as a powerful celebration of hope, unity, and the enduring spirit of Juneteenth.
